Gerrard back at training
Steven Gerrard has resumed training after he was charged for an alleged assault in a bar. He, along with two other men where charged yesterday after the brawl at a night club.
The midfielder has been giving the backing of his club Liverpool. In a statement released the club say, "Steven has been an outstanding servant to the club for the last 10 years and the club will give him all the support he needs at this time."
If Gerrard is convicted he could see himself spend up to five years in prison however he will want to put that at the back of his mind and concentrate on team's preparation for their FA Cup game against Preston on Saturday.
Apart from the off field events Liverpool are currently top of the Premiership with Gerrard scoring eight goals so far this season.
Apart from his success in the league was acknowledged for his great skill when he was named in the Fifpro's team of the year squad, which is vote! d for by fellow soccer players.
